Sliema’s five-star luxury hotel, The Palace has been awarded the Outstanding Service Award by the Business Network International (BNI). This honour was awarded to The Palace for the service it offers to two chapters of BNI, the Verdala Chapter and Pinto de Fonseca Chapter which meet once a week, at the hotel.
Talk of Town Café, found at The Palace, Sliema, have created a Braille version of their menu to make their services accessible for customers with a visual impairment.
The Executive Chef at The Palace, Sliema Joseph Xuereb is Malta’s Top Chef as he claimed this prestigious award during an extraordinary night for him at the fifth edition of the WRMC (Wines and Restaurants of Malta.com) Restaurants Quality Recognition Awards gala dinner and ceremony.
The Palace, Sliema are once more extending its support to promote local art and culture and once more is collaborating with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, while also part sponsoring a number of concerts which are regularly organised by the Maltese national orchestra.
The Palace, Sliema is a proud collaborator of Mangano, as the latter opened again in Malta under new management. Sliema’s five-star hotel was responsible for the catering for the launch party of the outlet which took place in November, in Bisazza Street, Sliema.
The Palace, Sliema has again received the ECO Certification award, by the Malta Tourism Authority, for the next two years. This certification is essential, being the national scheme for guaranteeing the environmental, socioeconomic, and cultural sustainability of hotels on the Maltese Islands and has been recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council as fully reflecting the GSTC criteria.
