AX The Palace is rewarded the awards for the 8th consecutive year
This year’s WRMC Awards (Wines and Restaurants Malta Awards) was another opportunity for the teams behind the distinguished restaurants The Tabloid and TemptAsian in Sliema to rejoice, as they received two of the most distinguished awards.
TemptAsian, the award-winning restaurant that serves a fusion of Asian cuisine, won the reputable Silver Spoon Award yet again, while the chic The Tabloid, also located at AX The Palace, achieved the esteemed Blue Riband Award and was also awarded one of Malta's Top 4 Sunday Buffet Lunch venues.
Mr Kevin Callus, General Manager of the Sliema properties, expresses his gratitude towards these awards. ‘We couldn’t have done it without our dedicated team at both TemptAsian and The Tabloid. The list of restaurants who are entitled to these awards are assembled by the WRMC Professional Assessment Team during 2019, and by the WRMC Professional Consultants through anonymous inspections. The appraisal is carried out on the entire and finished dining experience, and all the survey teams must be in agreement on the quality of all the elements considered before the winners are chosen.
TemptAsian can be found on the ninth floor of AX The Palace, and presents a grandiose view of Sliema and Valletta’s Harbour. It also transports you to different parts of Asia with its large selection of food from China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Vietnam and India. The Tabloid, on the other hand, is optimal for a range of activities, but especially known for its themed nights and Sunday Buffet Lunch.
